The invention discloses a lime-calcium carbide co-production system and method. The lime-calcium carbide co-production system comprises a calcium carbide waste heat recovery unit, a calcium carbide furnace tail gas recovery unit and a lime kiln tail gas utilization unit. The calcium carbide waste heat recovery unit realizes rapid cooling and heat recovery of high-temperature molten calcium carbideby using a furnace mouth annular barrel granulation heat collection mechanism; the calcium carbide furnace tail gas recovery unit introduces calcium carbide furnace tail gas into a carbon material drying furnace to dry semi-coke and then introduces the semi-coke into the lime kiln as fuel; the lime kiln tail gas utilization unit uses a cyclone dust collector to conduct dust falling treatment on lime kiln tail gas and then heats lime kiln raw material air through a heat exchanger. Directed at the calcium carbide production industry, gradient utilization of heat energy in an actual applicationprocess and special treatment requirements of molten state calcium carbide are comprehensively considered by the invention, lime production and calcium carbide production are combined through organiccombination of a plurality of units and optimization of the structure and process of the waste heat/gas recovery device, waste heat/gas generated in the production process is fully utilized, and efficient improvement and perfection of a calcium carbide production system are achieved.
