The invention relates to the field of brick preparation methods, in particular to a preparation method of a light brick. The method comprises the following steps of: a) firstly, mixing 18-22 parts ofepoxy resin and 82-78 parts of glass fiber reinforced plastic particles, and putting the mixture into mold pressing equipment to prepare a primary blank of a brick; and b) heating the primary blank ata high temperature, curing the primary blank into bricks, and burning off impurities which are not resistant to temperature in the primary blank in the heating process. Epoxy resin and glass fiber reinforced plastic particles are mixed and subjected to mold pressing to form a primary blank, the primary blank is cured into a brick through high-temperature hot air, and impurities are burnt off through high temperature in the curing process. The brick is low in manufacturing cost, resistant to corrosion, high in waterproofness and light in weight.
