The invention discloses a buffer energy-consuming type bridge anti-earthquake check block capable of rotating in a bridge direction. The check block comprises a steel corbel, a rotating component, buffer energy-consuming devices, steel baffles and collision rubber, wherein the steel corbel is fixed above a side wall of a pier, the rotating component is fixedly installed at the bottom of a main beam through a rotating hinge support, the buffer energy-consuming devices are fixedly connected to the two sides of an inner portion of the rotating component, the steel baffles are fixedly installed onthe upper portion of the steel corbel through the steel baffle bolts, and the steel baffles are located on the two sides of the rotating component. In the invention, overlarge displacement between abeam body and a bridge pier along the bridge direction can be limited; a beam falling phenomenon is prevented, part of earthquake input energy is buffered and consumed by means of compression and stretching deformation of the buffer energy dissipation device; and earthquake energy is absorbed through torsional deformation of a torsion spring and collision deformation of the collision rubber, a damage degree of a bridge is reduced as much as possible, and the check block can reset to an original form along with a recovery effect of the buffer energy-consuming devices and the torsion spring after an earthquake.
