The invention discloses a parking space gate device capable of reading license plate information, which comprises a plate body.An image detection head is fixedly mounted on the front side surface of the plate body; the image detection head can read the license plate number of an automobile through camera shooting. A storage cavity with a forward opening and a moving cavity are formed in the platebody; the storage cavity is communicated with the moving cavity; a limiting mechanism capable of carrying out gate limiting on the parking space is arranged in the storage cavity and the moving cavity; the warning mechanism comprises two fixed tables which are symmetrically and fixedly arranged on the rear wall of the storage cavity up and down; a supporting column is hinged to the front side of the fixedtable. A lifting and folding mode is adopted, lifting of the clamping groove and the lifting block and rotation of the supporting column are controlled through left-right movement of the moving block, and the limiting column can be covered when the supporting column rotates into the storage cavity, so that the storage effect of the whole device is better, and normal advancing of an automobile is not affected.
