The invention provides a two-way tilting gate which comprises a gate body, a supporting arm, a driving device, a gate chamber, a civil engineering structure, a driving device support and a supportingarm support, wherein the driving device support and the supporting arm support are fixed to the civil engineering structure; the gate body is connected with the supporting arm; the supporting arm is connected to the supporting arm support through a rotating hinge; the driving device is mounted on the driving device support and connected with the supporting arm through a driving rod; the gate chamber is arranged at the bottom of a riverway; in the water blocking state, both the connecting point between the driving rod and the supporting arm as well as the connecting point between the driving device and the driving device support are higher than the highest point of the gate body; the gate body has an upstream surface; the gate chamber has a gate chamber lower surface matched with the upstream surface of the gate body; the side, close to the upstream surface, of the gate chamber lower surface is higher than the other side; and the gate body is capable of rotating downward or upward fromthe water blocking state. The two-way tilting gate is simple in structure; the driving device is located at a relatively high position and has no risk of being submerged; and meanwhile, the drop design of the door chamber is beneficial to the removal of silt accumulated in a bottom sill.
