The invention provides a method for reinforcing soft foundation, and belongs to the technical field of foundation reinforcement. The method for reinforcing the soft foundation provided by the invention has a short construction period, low cost and low construction difficulty, and can change soil properties of deep saturated cohesive soil, and improve characteristic values of the bearing capacity of the soft foundation. In the method for reinforcing the soft foundation, a number of deep well downcomers are first arranged in the soft foundation to achieve shallow precipitation of the foundation;a material pipe is inserted then between two deep well downcomers to achieve deep squeezing and precipitation of the foundation soil; clay and sand material is filled in the material pipe inserted into the soil to reinforce the deep soil of the foundation to realize the deep backfill replacement of the foundation and achieve the effect of changing the clay soil properties, thereby improving the characteristic values of the bearing capacity of the foundation; and finally, the method provided by the invention can solve the surface soil loosening effect produced in the process of deep precipitation and backfill replacement by reinforcing the surface loosened soil of the foundation, so as to further improve the bearing capacity of foundation soil.
