A fixed ring plate (13) is arranged on the outer lower portion of a manhole ring (10), surrounding supporting blocks (9) are arranged on the middle upper portion of the inner face of the manhole ring, the number of gaps (8) formed between the supporting blocks is matched with that of the radial convex strips of the manhole cover body, the manhole cover body is buckled onto the upper end faces of the supporting blocks in the manhole ring, and the outer ends of the radial convex strips of the manhole cover body are inserted in the gaps between the supporting blocks correspondingly. Oval heads (3) slightly smaller than the oval holes of the manhole cover body are arranged at the lower ends of inserting rods (2) of the cover opener, and handles (1) are arranged at the upper ends of the inserting rods of the cover opener. According to the high-strength manhole cover, the supporting blocks are arranged on the inner wall of the manhole ring, the gaps are in engaged connection with the convex strips of the manhole cover body, and displacement bouncing happening during vehicle grindingis avoided; and the convex strips of the manhole cover body extend to the side, and therefore the strength of the manhole cover can be effectively improved.
