The invention discloses a cover plate and seat ring device of a flush toilet. The device comprises a toilet seat, a supporting seat is connected above the toilet seat; and a first sliding groove is formed in the supporting seat. A first sliding mechanism is arranged in the first sliding groove; one side of the first sliding mechanism is connected with a first axial rotating mechanism; the first axial rotating mechanism is connected with a first radial rotating mechanism; the first radial rotating mechanism is connected with a cover plate; a second sliding groove is further formed in the supporting seat. The second sliding groove is formed below the first sliding groove. A second sliding mechanism is arranged in the second sliding groove; a second axial rotating mechanism is arranged on oneside of the second sliding mechanism, a second radial mechanism is connected to the second axial mechanism, a seat ring is connected to the second radial mechanism, the seat ring is arranged above the toilet seat, a cover plate is arranged above the seat ring. Problems that bacteria are prone to covering the seat ring due to the fact that the cover plate covers seat ring after the user goes to the toilet and the bacteria are easy to diffuse into the air of the toilet if the cover plate does not cover the seat ring are solved.
