The invention relates to an automatic-reset support equipped with a stepless regulating friction energy dissipation device. The support comprises a connection transmission mechanism, an automatic-reset mechanism and a friction energy dissipation mechanism, wherein the connection transmission mechanism comprises an outer sleeve, an inner sleeve, two end connecting plates and two end plates, the inner sleeve is arranged in the outer sleeve and is fixed to the outer sleeve in a radial direction, the two end connecting plates are located at two opposite ends and are fixedly connected to the ends of the inner sleeve and the outer sleeve correspondingly, the two end plates are located on the two axial sides of the outer sleeve and the inner sleeve correspondingly; and the friction energy dissipation mechanism comprises two inner friction plates, two outer friction plates and pre-tightening bolts, wherein the two inner friction plates, the two outer friction plates and the pre-tightening bolts are fixed on the outer sleeve and the inner sleeve, and the two outer friction plates clamp the two inner friction plates through pre-tightening bolts. Compared with the prior art, the support can solve the conflict between supporting energy dissipation capacity and the automatic-reset capacity, obstruction of supporting reset is reduced while the reliable energy dissipation capacity is provided, and flexibility of supporting loading and unloading rigidity and yield bearing capacity adjustment is realized.
