The invention discloses a method for realizing desert ecological restoration through desert solidification. The method comprises the following steps that water is added into a curing additive for dilution, the curing additive comprises a culture solution, potassium sulfate, urea, magnesium chloride, sodium chloride, calcium chloride and sodium bicarbonate, and the culture solution comprises molasses, sodium stannate, ammonium chloride, calcium carbonate and borax; mixing the diluted curing additive with desert sand and cement, and compacting to form a cured body; and spreading the solidified body in desert sand. According to the desert ecological restoration method, desert sand is used as a base material to prepare the solidified body with the water retention function, the growth environment of desert plants is improved through the solidified body, the solidified and treated desert has the water-containing environment needed by plant growth, and the method is low in desert treatment cost, high in plant survival rate and suitable for large-scale application and popularization.
