The invention relates to the field of water collecting devices, in particular to a movable type sponge city rainwater collecting system which comprises a plurality of water storing subsystems and a plurality of water collecting subsystems; each of the water collecting subsystems comprises a detecting module for detecting rainwater; the detecting module sends a raining signal when raining is detected; each of the water collecting subsystems further comprises a water collecting module, a movable module and a control module; the water collecting module is used for accumulating rainwater with a constant volume while raining and sends a rainfall signal to the control module when a unit volume of rainwater is accumulated; the control module takes the collecting time of the unit volume of rainwater as unit duration, calculates the total time for the water collecting module to collect full rainwater, obtains a distance value according to the position information of the water collecting subsystems and the position information of the water storing subsystems, obtains the movable speed of the movable module according to the distance value and the total time, and controls the movable module tomove towards the water storing subsystems at the movable speed. The movable type sponge city rainwater collecting system enables movably accumulated rainwater to be timely stored.
