The invention relates to an impulse type hydraulic self-cleaning rainwater pipe gallery and a hydraulic self-cleaning device thereof, and belongs to the field of rainwater pipe galleries. The hydraulic self-cleaning device comprises a rotating shaft and a bucket-shaped gate rotationally connected with the rotating shaft; the bucket-shaped gate is provided with an upstream side and a downstream side, a water containing cavity with an open upper end is formed between the upstream side and the downstream side, and balance holes communicating with the water containing cavity are formed in the upstream side; the bucket-shaped gate is of an eccentric structure and can be closed by means of self-weight, and when water in the water containing cavity reaches a certain liquid level, the bucket-shaped gate is opened under the acting force of the water in the water containing cavity; the rotating shaft is arranged on the inner wall of a pipe gallery body, the upstream side of the bucket-shaped gate is located upstream in the water flow direction, and the downstream side is located downstream in the water flow direction; and water flow is cut off when the bucket-shaped gate is closed, and impulse type water flow is formed at the bottom of the pipe gallery body when the bucket-shaped gate is opened. Silt in the rainwater pipe gallery is taken away through the impulse type water flow, so thatimpulse type hydraulic self-cleaning of the rainwater pipe gallery is achieved, and the silt deposition problem of the rainwater pipe gallery is solved.
