The invention provides a supporting reinforcing structure and method for an irregular roof of an ancient cavern. The supporting reinforcing structure comprises steel columns and a steel beam, whereinthe top ends of the steel columns are provided with rubber short columns, and the rubber short columns support the roof of the ancient cavern; the steel beam is provided with rubber short columns, andthe rubber short columns support the roof of the ancient cavern; column type rubber outer walls are provided with displacement monitoring modules used for monitoring displacement of the roof of the ancient cavern; and the outer walls of sleeves are provided with displacement monitoring modules used for monitoring displacement of the sleeves. The supporting reinforcing structure and method for theirregular roof of the ancient cavern are used for supporting and reinforcing the ancient cavern in a tourist attraction, and aiming at the particularity of preservation of cultural relics, the existing structure of the ancient cavern, especially, cultural relics and historic sites is not damaged on the premise that the reinforcing safety and stability are ensured.
