The invention belongs to the technical field of door locks, and particularly relates to a silent door lock. The silent door lock comprises a first lock block and a second lock block. The included angle between a first slope on a limiting block designed in the silent door lock and the end face of a door frame and the included angle between a second slope on the limiting block and the end face of the door frame are small, when a square bolt impacts the first slope on the limiting block, due to the fact that the impact face is the slope, therefore, the impact sound is smaller than that of vertical impact, and the noise caused by the first-time impact in the background is reduced to a certain extent; after the limiting block slides to be disengaged from the square bolt, the square bolt can cross the first slope on the limiting block, at the moment, the sliding block slides towards the outer side of a mounting shell under the action of a reset spring, meanwhile, the limiting block resets under the action of a return spring, so that the second slope on the limiting block is matched with a slope on the square bolt; and due to the fact that the distance at which the limiting block moves out again after moving back is much smaller than the distance at which a traditional square bolt moves after being disengaged from a metal sheet, noise caused by second-time impact in the background isreduced.
