The invention relates to a cabinet lock and a machine cabinet applying the cabinet lock. The cabinet lock comprises a lock body and a handle. The first end of the handle is movably connected with thelock body, the second end of the handle is cooperatively connected with the lock body through a lock pin, and then the handle has an unlocking position and a locking position. A control board and a recognition module are arranged in the handle, an external power interface electrically connected with the control board is formed in the handle, and the lock pin is arranged in the handle through a telescopic device controlled by the control board. The recognition module is connected with the control board, and when a power source is connected to the external power interface, the recognition modulecan acquire identity information and authenticate recognition to send an instruction to the control board to control the telescopic device to act on the lock pin. The cabinet lock has the beneficialeffects that continuous power supply of the power source is not needed when the cabinet lock is in a locked state, when the cabinet lock needs to be unlocked, it is only needed to enable the externalpower interface to be connected with the power source, and then the cabinet lock can be unlocked.
