The invention provides a fire resisting window capable of being automatically closed. The fire resisting window comprises a window frame, a window, a pulley, a pull rope, a worm wheel, a worm, supporting plates, a shell, a first transverse plate, a connecting rod, a second transverse plate, a limiting stop block, a spiral spring, a cylinder, a piston and an ejector rod. The worm is rotationally connected between the two supporting plates and engaged with the worm wheel, one end of the connecting plate is fixedly connected with the middle of the first transverse plate, the middle of the secondtransverse plate is fixedly connected with the other end of the connecting rod, one end of the spiral spring is fixedly connected with the bottom face of an inner cavity of the shell, the other end ofthe spiral spring is fixedly connected with the bottom of the second transverse plate, one end of the cylinder is fixedly installed on the top face of the inner cavity of the shell, the piston and the inner wall of the cylinder are in sliding sealing connection to form a sealed cavity, the sealed cavity is filled with thermal expansion matter, one end of the ejector rod is fixedly connected withthe piston, and the other end of the ejector rod is located over the second transverse plate. The fire resisting window can be automatically closed when a fire occurs, and is simple in overall structure.
