The invention relates to a metal weldment composite material. The metal weldment composite material comprises a metal shell formed by welding steel plates and resin concrete filled in the metal shell,the resin concrete comprises the following components in percentage by mass: 4%-8% of epoxy resin, 1%-4% of a curing agent, 50%-70% of quartz stone, 8%-15% of quartz sand and 6%-15% of quartz powder.The mass ratio of the resin concrete to the metal shell is 2:1-3:1. The invention further relates to a preparation method of the metal weldment composite material. The metal weldment composite material overcomes the defects of performance of a metal weldment, and is high in strength and stable and durable in structure.
