The preparation method comprises the following steps: stacking and distributing a backing material and a surface material, and performing pressing andporcelainization sintering to prepare a compact waterproof structure; herein, the surface materialis mainly prepared from the following raw materials in parts by weight: 30-60 parts of potassium-sodium feldspar particles, 40-50 parts of potassium-sodium feldspar powder, 15-18 parts of a binder, 15-18 parts of a flux and 0-5 parts of a pigment; the backing material is mainly prepared from the following raw materials in parts by weight: 50-80 parts of waste ceramic tile particles, 20-50 parts of waste ceramic tile powder, 13-15 parts of a binder and 5-8 parts of a flux; wherein the particle size of the waste ceramic tile particles is 10-25 meshes, and the particle size of the waste ceramictile powder is 25-100 meshes. The artificial granite plate prepared by the method is good in decorativeness, the breaking strength reaches 10-30 MPa, and the artificial granite plate is not prone to dirt absorption and dirt storage, easy to clean and high in antifouling capacity.
