The invention relates to an assembly type steel structure connecting joint structure which comprises a lower pipe column, an upper pipe column, a T-shaped plate and H-shaped steel. A left inserting column and a right inserting column are arranged in the middles of the inner side faces of the H-shaped steel at the left end and the right end of the lower pipe column respectively, a side inserting column is arranged in each of the middles of the inner side faces of the H-shaped steel at the front end and the rear end of the lower pipe column respectively, and the left inserting column, the rightinserting column and the side inserting columns penetrate through the lower pipe column and the upper pipe column; and the left inserting column and the right inserting column are arranged in a central symmetry manner, the lower side of the inner end of the left inserting column and the upper side of the inner end of the right inserting column are each provided with a jacking and stretching body,a square groove is formed in the middle of each jacking and stretching body, and the square grooves correspond to the middle of the lower pipe column in position. The assembly type steel structure connecting joint structure can solve the problems that the welding connection effect between existing square hollow columns is poor, and the H-shaped steel can only be connected with the side faces of the square hollow columns, so that the H-shaped steel cannot form a whole, and the stability and integrity of the H-shaped steel are poor.
