The method comprises the following steps: S1, calcining dolomite, adding water for digesting to obtain Mg (OH) 2 and Ca (OH) 2, performing carbonizing with CO2 to obtain magnesium bicarbonate and calcium carbonate, and performing pyrolyzing and calcining to obtain active calcium oxide and activemagnesium oxide mixed powder for later use; S2, adding the active calcium oxide and active magnesium oxide mixed powder prepared in the step S1 into water, carrying out uniform mixing, adding silicondioxide for mixing, performing uniform stirring, adding a mixture into a high-temperature and high-pressure magnetic drive reaction kettle, carrying out a high-temperature and high-pressure reaction for 4-5 hours under a magnetic stirring condition, and performing cooling to room temperature after the reaction is finished, so as to obtain slurry a; and S3, standing the slurry a obtained in the step S2, removing supernatant liquid, injecting lower-layer slurry into a forming mold, performing demolding and drying, and thereby obtaining a product. According to the manufacturing method of the calcium magnesium silicate layer decorative plate adopting the structure, the decorative plate which is economical, light in weight, heat-preservation, heat-insulation, fireproof and waterproof is provided.
