The simplified reversing push-pull lock body comprises a housing, aspring bolt plate which is connected to one side of the housing and is provided with a spring bolt hole, a spring bolt which is arranged in the housing and can extend out of or retract into the springbolt hole, and a reset mechanism which is connected to the rear end of the spring bolt so as to enable the spring bolt to always have the tendency of popping up towards one side of the spring bolt hole and prevents the spring bolt from turning over; and a back locking piece is arranged in the housing, one end of the back locking piece is rotationally arranged on the housing, the other end of theback locking piece is connected with the housing through a torsional spring, a shifting groove allowing a shifting block of a lock cylinder to extend into is formed in one side of the back locking piece, and a first blocking part for limiting movement of the reset mechanism is formed in the other side of the back locking piece. A back locking mechanism is simplified, the function of the original back locking mechanism is achieved through one back locking piece, the manufacturing cost of a product is greatly reduced, and the production efficiency and stability of the product are improved.
