The invention relates to a window opener having a J-shaped movable rail. The window opener comprises a box body, a driving module arranged in the box body and provided with an output gear, the J-shaped movable rail meshed with the output gear and a limiter used for being fixed to a window rail, wherein a horizontal supporting plate used for slidably supporting the bottom surface of the J-shaped movable rail is arranged at the bottom of the box body. When the output gear is meshed with a hook head of the J-shaped movable rail, the J-shaped movable rail rotates along with the output gear, so that the J-shaped movable rail is switched between a vertical state and a horizontal state; a clutch mechanism is arranged between the limiter and the hook head of the J-shaped movable rail, and when theJ-shaped movable rail is in the vertical state, the J-shaped movable rail is separated from the limiter; and when the J-shaped movable rail is in an unfolded state, the J-shaped movable rail is locked with the limiter. The window opener is ingenious in structure, fixation of the rail in the horizontal unfolded state is achieved through the clutch mechanism between the turnover hook head of the movable rail and the limiter, and then opening and closing of a window can be achieved through a motor and the movable rail.
