The invention discloses an aluminum alloy window frame convenient to install and an installation method. The aluminum alloy window frame convenient to mount comprises a window frame body, the window frame body comprises an aluminum alloy frame, the aluminum alloy frame comprises aluminum alloy plates at the two sides, and the aluminum alloy plates are connected through connecting pieces; the sidewall of the aluminum alloy plate at one side of the aluminum alloy frame extends downwards to form a lengthened edge foot part; an inserting opening which is transversely opened outwards is formed inthe bottom of the side wall of the aluminum alloy plate at the other side, opposite to the side foot part, of the aluminum alloy frame; and the window frame body further comprises an inserting plate,the inserting plate is composed of a transverse plate and a vertical plate which are bent, one end of the transverse plate can be inserted into the inserting opening so that the inserting plate and the aluminum alloy frame can be combined into a whole, the edge foot part and the vertical plate form a containing cavity with an opening towards one side, and the containing cavity is buckled on an oldwindow frame to form a new window frame. The aluminum alloy window frame can generate the new window frame without destroying the original old window frame structure, and is suitable for window framestructures of any size.
