The invention discloses a desert investigation temporary building cooling and sunstroke prevention device which comprises a top cover fixed to a plurality of side plates. A working base is fixedly connected to the side wall, close to the side plates, of the top cover, and a first cavity, a second cavity and a third cavity are formed in the working base; and a water tank is fixedly connected to theside wall, close to the first cavity, of the working base, a first through hole is formed in the side wall, close to the working base, of the water tank, the first through hole is formed away from the top cover, and the end, close to the first cavity, of the first through hole penetrates through the working base and communicates with the first cavity.
