The invention relates to the technical field of water supply facilities, in particular to a water-saving and environment-friendly intelligent water tank water supply system and a working method thereof. The intelligent water tank water supply system comprises a set of control device, a plurality of water tanks, an ozone generator and a hot air dryer. During working, the intelligent water tank system can realize automatic drainage, disinfection sterilization and water storage after each water tank supplies water, and when one of the water tanks is in the processes of drainage, disinfection sterilization and water storage, other water tanks can supply water, namely, the intelligent water tank water supply system disclosed by the invention can always maintain water supply, and meanwhile, theinteriors of all the water tanks can be kept in a clean state all the time, secondary pollution of water can be avoided, and water quality is improved. In addition, water storage and supply can be carried out in different periods through the control device according to the water using habit of each building, so that the storage time of water in the water tank is shortened, the flowability and thequality of the water are improved, and secondary pollution of the water and waste of water resources are further avoided.
