The waterproof construction method comprisesthe steps that S1, a foundation pit is excavated; S2, a base layer is poured; S3, first walls are built; S4, smooth connecting faces are formed at the joint of a first waterproof plate and the base layer and at the joints of the first walls by using gel materials; S5, a first waterproof coiled material is laid; S6, a second waterproof coiled material is bonded; S7, a first structural layer is laid; S8, a reinforcing mesh is pre-embedded; S9, a third waterproof coiled material is laid; S10, the positions, extending along the first walls, between the first waterproof coiled material and the third waterproof coiled material are filled with gel matter; S11, a second structural layer is laid; and S12, a horizontal surface layer is laid. The method has the effect of reducing accumulated water inthe basement.
