A protective device with a plurality of safety protections comprises a handrail, columns with one ends connected with the lower side surface of the handrail, a groove tube arranged on the side surfaceof the other ends of the columns, and glass arranged between the handrail and the groove tube. The lower side of the handrail is provided with a glass installation groove extending along the axial direction of the handrail and opening towards the columns. The glass is placed in the glass installation groove and the notch. The glass is not restricted by the columns, and can be directly extended to the same width as the handrail, thereby eliminating the problem that the hollow between the columns and a building is not completely enclosed.
