The invention provides doors and windows with strong safety performance. The doors and windows comprise window and door frames and toughened glass. The door and window frames are composed of horizontal frames and vertical frames. The horizontal frames and the vertical frames both have two sets, and the interior of the horizontal frames and the vertical frames are provided with U-shaped rabbets. U-shaped fixing plates are arranged inside the U-shaped rabbets. The upper end faces of two ends of the U-shaped fixing plates are flush with the upper end faces of the U-shaped rabbets and are providedwith middle backing plates. The doors and windows with strong safety performance arranges U-shaped fixing plates, middle backing plates, and L-shaped limiting plates in the splicing part of the window and door frames and the toughened glass, arranges reinforced supporting frames inside the U-shaped fixing plates to protect the edges of the toughened glass, and arranges the L-shaped limiting plates to fix the middle backing plates to share the pressure received by the middle backing plates from the U-shaped fixing plates, so as to further improve the compressive performance of the U-shaped fixing plates, reduce the pressure on the edge of the toughened glass, avoid the damage of the toughened glass caused by excessive pressure, and improve the safety performance of the doors and windows.
