The invention discloses a device for automatically recovering oil absorption felts and detecting the effect of the oil absorption felts. The device comprises a box body, a conveying cavity with a leftward opening is formed in the box body, a discharging cavity with a rightward opening is formed in the right side of the conveying cavity in a communicating manner, and a grabbing cavity with a leftward opening is formed in the lower side of the conveying cavity; and a rotating cavity is formed between the grabbing cavity and the conveying cavity in a communicating manner, a grabbing gear cavity is formed in the right side part of the grabbing cavity in a communicating manner, a grabbing device is arranged in the grabbing cavity, and an extrusion cavity communicating with the lower side part of the conveying cavity is formed in the right side of the rotating cavity. According to the device, the oil absorption felts absorbing oil stains on the sea surface are automatically treated, the oilabsorption felts are preliminarily extruded to check the oil absorption effect of the oil absorption felts, then the oil absorption felts are treated in a segmented manner, the oil absorption felts with the good effect are efficiently drained through centrifugal rotation and then are put back to the sea surface to absorb oil, and the oil absorption felts with the poor effect are stored and treatedashore, so that the time required for salvaging the oil absorption felts by the device can be shortened.
