The side slope grass planting brick comprises a structure body, a water absorption and storage material body and a sustained-release material body, wherein the structure body is provided with a cavity used for accommodating the water absorption and storage material body and the sustained-release materialbody; the structure body makes contact with the sustained-release material body, the upper contact bonding surface and the lower contact bonding surface of the structure body and the sustained-releasematerial body are coated with a binder, and a plurality of gaps are formed inside the sustained-release material body; and an annular groove is formed inside the structure body, a water storage areais formed through the annular groove, a plurality of small holes are formed in each edge of the upper portion of the structure body, a plurality of small holes are formed in the upper portion of the sustained-release material body, and the small holes make contact with soil, so that rainwater or irrigation water conveniently and rapidly enters the water absorption and storage material body and thelike through the soil. The side slope grass planting brick can effectively reduce virescence maintenance times and maintenance cost, can reduce greening plant death to the maximum extent, is particularly suitable for an area with small rainfall and high evaporation capacity, and facilitates management and maintenance of a green belt.
