The invention relates to a steel structure support for a building. The steel structure support comprises a base, wherein horizontal limiting barrels are welded to the center of the base in a sealed mode, horizontal bolts are selectively inserted into bolt holes formed in the side edge of the inner parts of the horizontal limiting barrels, pistons at the roots of the horizontal bolts are uniformlydistributed in a hydraulic cavity, the hydraulic cavity is wrapped with a hydraulic cylinder wall, and the hydraulic cylinder wall is in a vertical opening shape; and a main stand column is inserted into the outer side of an overflow column vertically mounted on the bottom wall of the hydraulic cylinder, the top of the main stand column is fixedly connected with a loading platform, a turnover mechanism is mounted in the center of the loading platform, and two groups of buffer mechanisms are mounted on the side edge of the loading platform. A building structure that a horizontal overturning table of an oval structure cooperates for loading is adopted, so that equipment can be prevented from inclining due to gravity in the loading process. The horizontal overturning table cooperates with a hydraulic buffering mechanism, gravity and external force in other directions can be relieved more quickly, and in the relieving process, the horizontal limiting barrels and the horizontal bolts in thehorizontal overturning table can prevent the support from deviating due to the external force.
