The invention discloses a metal dome roof of a large landscape building and a construction method of the metal dome roof. The metal dome roof comprises an arch-shaped steel structure used for supporting an arch-shaped roof body, and profiled steel sheets, a vapor barrier film, n-shaped steel components, a heat preservation layer, an arc-shaped hidden keel, profiled sheets, a leveling steel sheet,stainless steel fasteners, a waterproof roll layer, a waterproof roll layer and roof plates which are sequentially fixed to the upper portion of the arch-shaped steel structure from bottom to top, wherein the profiled steel sheets serve as a structural base layer, the n-shaped steel components are connected and fixed with the longitudinal arc-shaped hidden keel, the profiled steel sheets and the leveling steel sheet are fixed to the arc-shaped hidden keel, the roof body is machined into a double-curved-surface dome shape, and the roof plates are connected to the leveling steel sheet through the stainless steel fasteners. According to the roof and the method, the stainless steel fasteners are connected with the leveling steel sheet, the double-curved-surface dome roof is formed by splicingthe roof plates, an arc-shaped hidden keel conversion layer is added, the profiled steel sheets and the leveling steel sheet are arranged on the arc-shaped hidden keel, and the roof is made into the double-curved-surface dome shape, so that the requirement for attractive appearance is met, and the construction requirement is met.
