The embodiment of the invention discloses a floating foundation for a cultural relic protection building, and relates to the technical field of building structure foundations. According to the key points of the technical scheme, the floating foundation comprises a concrete foundation layer prefabricated on the upper side of the ground, a mounting plate which is located on one side, away from the ground, of the concrete foundation layer and a supporting column which is integrally formed on one side, far away from the concrete foundation layer, of the mounting plate; and a connecting assembly for fixing the mounting plate is arranged between the mounting plate and the concrete foundation layer. The floating foundation for the cultural relic protection building is used for solving the problemthat in the prior art, structural foundations need to be dug downwards by a certain depth and cannot serve as structural foundations in the cultural relic protection building.
