The invention discloses a built-in stainless steel skeleton plastic-wood composite decorative column. The built-in stainless steel skeleton plastic-wood composite decorative column mainly comprises astainless steel column, a base, a plurality of stainless steel outer shells, and plastic-wood composite boards; fastening mechanisms are arranged between the stainless steel outer shells and the plastic-wood composite boards; each fastening mechanism comprises a plurality of fastening columns, a fastening head, a synchronous rod, a connecting rod, a triggering device, and a resetting spring; a plurality of penetrating holes are formed in the stainless steel outer shells; a plurality of inserting rods are arranged on the inner sides of the plastic-wood composite boards; a fastening hole is formed in each inserting rod; and a buffer mechanism is arranged between each stainless steel outer shell and the stainless steel column. The decorative column and the method can realize rapid installation of the plastic-wood composite boards and can complete replacement of a single plastic-wood composite board; and the decorative column after installation has the characteristic of relatively strong buffer unloading force and is suitable for wide promotion.
