The invention relates to a subgrade structure backfilled with a light material above a subway. The subgrade structure comprises a foam concrete layer, an impermeable layer, a coarse sand layer, an EPSblock layer and a reinforced concrete plate layer which are located above the subway and sequentially arranged from bottom to top. The structure is simple, the load of backfill materials above a subway is greatly reduced, the requirement of a road surface for roadbed strength is met, various municipal pipelines are convenient to erect, and overall construction is simple.
