The invention belongs to the field of road protection, and relates to a telescopic device of a highway bridge guardrail, which comprises a guardrail and a first buffer body arranged on the inner sideof the guardrail; wherein first buffer body is a box body; the number of the first buffer bodies is at least one; elastic pieces which are fixedly connected between the first buffer body and the guardrail, the number of the elastic pieces is at least two, and the elastic pieces are evenly distributed between the first buffer body and the guardrail; a rubber roller which is vertically arranged between the first buffer body and the guardrail; and the rubber roller abuts against the first buffer body and the guardrail. The number of the rubber rollers is at least one; and the rubber rollers are uniformly distributed between the first buffer body and the guardrail. By means of the characteristics of the first buffer block, the rubber roller and the elastic piece, the first buffer body moves through the rubber roller to change the impact angle of an automobile when the automobile collides, the elastic piece is used for limiting the displacement of the first buffer body and the automobile, impact of the automobile on the guardrail is reduced, and secondary accidents caused when the automobile rushes out of the guardrail are prevented.
