The invention provides a surface water taking device capable of automatically rising and falling along with the water level. The surface water taking device comprises a water taking pipeline and a concrete fixing pile which is arranged on one side of the water taking pipeline, the water taking pipeline is divided into an upper half part and a lower half part, the upper half part of the water taking pipeline is slidably connected with the lower half part of the water taking pipeline through a sealing ring, the lower half part of the water taking pipeline is connected with the concrete fixing pile through a second nut, and the upper half part of the water taking pipeline is slidably connected with the concrete fixing pile through an adjustable rubber inflator pump and a concrete balancing weight. According to the surface water taking device capable of automatically rising and falling along with the water level, under the dynamic balance effect of the adjustable rubber inflator pump and the concrete balancing weight, the position of a water inlet automatically moves up and down along with the rise of the water level of a reservoir area, it is guaranteed that the water inlet is alwayskept at a certain distance under the water surface, water entering the water taking pipeline is surface-layer high-temperature water, and the adverse effect of low-temperature water drainage on agricultural production of an irrigation area is avoided.
