The invention relates to a light steel structure composite plate and a process method thereof. The composite plate comprises a bottom plate with a cavity formed inside and a heat preservation layer arranged in the cavity of the bottom plate, the two side edges of the bottom plate in the length direction are fixedly connected with a first connecting plate and a second connecting plate which extendin the length direction of the bottom plate correspondingly, the cross section of the first connecting plate and the cross section of the second connecting plate are in a V shape and open upwards anddownwards, the side edges, away from each other, of the first connecting plate and the second connecting plate are fixedly connected with a connecting pipe and two first clamping plates respectively,the connecting pipe, the first clamping plates, the first connecting plate and the second connecting plate extend in the length direction of the bottom plate, the connecting pipe is clamped between two first clamping plates of the other bottom plate, openings of the two first clamping plates face downwards, and a fixing assembly used for limiting axial displacement of the connecting pipe is arranged between the two first clamping plates. The composite plate has the effect that the heat preservation effect is relatively good after installation.
