The invention discloses a canopy awning. The canopy awning comprises a traction component, a plurality of driven components, sun-shading fabric, a synchronous belt and a driving device; the driving device drives the synchronous belt to transmit; the traction component is arranged on the synchronous belt and moves synchronously with the synchronous belt; the driven components are arranged on the synchronous belt and are slidably connected with the synchronous belt; and a reel and a clockwork spring are arranged on each driven component; the reels are arranged on the clockwork springs in a sleeving mode; the outer ends of the clockwork springs are arranged on the reels; the traction component and the driven components are sequentially arranged on the synchronous belt; and the reels on the driven components are connected with adjacent driven components at the upstream ends or the traction component through the sun-shading fabric. According to the canopy awning, the sun-shading fabric on the driven components can be unfolded one by one through the traction components, the sun-shading fabric on the driven components can be folded one by one through restoring force of the clockwork springs, the sun-shading area can be changed by adjusting the number of the driven components, the canopy awning is suitable for scenes with large-area sun-shading requirements, and the structure is simple.
