The invention discloses a magneto-rheological elastomer intelligent seismic isolation support with high vertical bearing capacity. The support comprises an upper bottom plate, a lower bottom plate, amagneto-rheological elastomer, a steel plate, a permanent magnet, a universal hinge, a vertical connecting rod, a steel cylinder, a coil and a magnetic conductive guiding rod. According to the magneto-rheological elastomer intelligent seismic isolation support with the high vertical bearing capacity, a closed magnetic circuit can be integrally formed, the magnitude of a magnetic field generated bythe permanent magnet can be changed by changing the magnitude of current applied to the coil, and therefore the adjustable range of the rigidity of the magneto-rheological elastomer can be expanded;the vertical connecting rod and the universal hinge are arranged in the support and can bear vertical loads, so that deformation of the magneto-rheological elastomer and the coil is reduced, the magneto-rheological effect of the support and the stability of the coil are guaranteed, and the service life is prolonged; and the support has the advantages of being high in safety, high in controllability and the like, and the problem that a traditional seismic isolation device is poor in seismic isolation effect under the action of near-fault long-period speed and displacement pulse earthquakes is solved.
