The invention discloses a high-strength ceramic tile adhesive and a preparation process thereof. The formula comprises the following components in parts by weight: 300-350 parts of cement, 600-630 parts of quartz sand, 20-50 parts of blast furnace slag, 2-5 parts of hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose, 3-6 parts of calcium formate, 10-20 parts of latex powder, 0.5-1 part of starch ether, 1-2 parts of awater reducing agent and 1.5-3 parts of a water repellent. A small amount of blast furnace slag is used for replacing quartz sand, the cost is saved, meanwhile, the reutilization of waste furnace slag is realized; the blast furnace slag is crushed and then subjected to ball milling and classification, screening is conducted after ball milling, sufficient mixing of the blast furnace slag and otheringredients is facilitated, through mixed application of the water reducing agent and the water repellent, the use amount of water in the ceramic tile adhesive is reduced, the strength is improved, and meanwhile the waterproof property and the impermeability of the ceramic tile adhesive are improved.
