The invention discloses a retaining wall supporting device for municipal construction, which comprises a first support and a second support, wherein the top ends of the first support and the second support are hinged, a limiter used for fixing the opening angle of the first support and the second support is arranged in the middle of the first support and the second support, and supporting plates are hinged to the outer sides of the bottom ends of the first support and the second support respectively. The first support, the second support and the supporting plates form a stable triangular supporting structure, the supporting plates on the two sides abut against retaining walls on the two sides of a trench respectively, the retaining walls on the side walls of the trench and the supporting plates are pressed against each other to form a stable supporting system, and trench soil collapse is prevented; the first support, the second support, the supporting plates and the limiter are matchedwith one another; the device is simple in structure and convenient to operate, the opening angle between the first support and the second support can be adjusted according to the different widths ofthe trench, the anchoring angles of the supporting plates can be adjusted according to the different slope gradients of the retaining walls of the side walls of the trench, the device can adapt to more construction sites, and the universality of the device is greatly improved.
