The invention discloses a novel retaining wall supporting structure. The novel retaining wall supporting structure comprises a plurality of groups of supporting vertical rods, wherein a base is fixedly connected to the lower end of each supporting vertical rod; an extension rod is connected to the upper end of each supporting vertical rod in a matched mode; a clamping piece used for clamping a protector is arranged on the upper end of each extension rod; a bearing sleeve sleeves the upper part of the periphery of each extension rod; an auxiliary protection mechanism is connected between the adjacent supporting vertical rods and the adjacent bearing sleeves; and an auxiliary limiting piece sleeves the periphery of each base. According to the novel retaining wall supporting structure, a retaining wall is supported by the supporting vertical rods, and the auxiliary protectors connected to the clamping pieces are matched, so that the supporting safety is improved; and furthermore, the comprehensive performance of supporting of the retaining wall is improved by matching of the auxiliary protection mechanisms, and the supporting stability of the bases is improved by the auxiliary limiting pieces.
