The invention discloses asphalt shingle laying equipment for a sloping roof. The asphalt shingle laying equipment comprises a transmission box; a transmission space is formed in the transmission box;a winding wheel is arranged inside the transmission space; two paying-off openings are symmetrically formed in the inner walls of the left and right sides of the transmission space with the winding wheel used as the center; guiding wheels are rotationally arranged in the paying-off openings; the winding wheel leads out two ropes anticlockwise; laying mechanisms are arranged on the ropes; and eachlaying mechanism comprises a laying box fixedly connected with the corresponding rope. According to the equipment, laying work of asphalt shingles of the sloping roof can be completed automatically; up-and-down movement of the laying mechanisms on the sloping roof is completed through winding and paying-off by the winding wheel, movement of the laying mechanisms in the front-and-back directions ofthe roof is completed through embedded pipe connection and roof rollers, and besides, conveying of the asphalt shingles is completed through friction wheels and two sliding rails.
