The invention discloses a horizontal shield type planar moving stereo garage, comprising an underground parking garage, and a plurality of lifting shafts which are located in the parking garage and communicated with the ground; the parking garage is a cylinder pipeline which is transversely arranged; a lifting mechanism, a support structure and a translation mechanism are arranged in the parking garage; the lifting mechanism is arranged corresponding to the lifting shafts; a translation mechanism and at least one parking layer matched with the lifting mechanism are arranged on the support structure; at least one parking place is arranged in each parking layer; a translation channel which is arranged along the length direction of the cylinder pipeline is also arranged in the parking garage;the translation mechanism is located in the translation channel; and the translation mechanism is used for transferring a vehicle from the lifting mechanism to the parking place or transferring the vehicle from the parking place to the lifting mechanism. The garage parking is the cylinder pipeline which is transversely arranged, so through adoption of a shield machine, the excavation can be finished, and the construction is convenient. The translation passageway, a plurality of lifting shafts communicated with the ground, and the translation mechanism and the lifting mechanism for carrying the vehicles are arranged in the parking garage, so the vehicles can be parked and taken away conveniently.
