The invention relates to a telescopic herringbone ladder which comprises a front ladder frame, a rear ladder frame and connecting lugs, wherein the front ladder frame comprises a front inner ladder frame and a front outer ladder frame, the rear ladder frame comprises a rear inner ladder frame and a rear outer ladder frame, the front inner ladder frame and the rear inner ladder frame are connectedwith the connecting lugs respectively, and the front inner ladder frame and the rear inner ladder frame mutually expand or fold through the connecting lugs; the front outer ladder frame is movably connected with the front inner ladder frame, the front outer ladder frame expands and contracts in the height direction of the front inner ladder frame to adjust the height of the front ladder frame, locking devices are arranged between the front inner ladder frame and the front outer ladder frame, and the locking devices lock the telescopic state of the front inner ladder frame and the front outer ladder frame; and a user can freely adjust changes to the rear inner ladder frame and the rear outer ladder frame, so as to adjust the height of the rear ladder frame, and when the height of the frontladder frame and the height of the rear ladder frame are changed, the height of the herringbone ladder can be changed, and the herringbone ladder can be adjusted for different heights; and due to themulti-position height telescopic adjustment, the herringbone ladder can be adapted to operation requirements of different heights, therefore, the practicability of the herringbone ladder is improved.
