The shear wall comprises concrete, at least one steel pipe and two steel plates, and further comprises a batten rod and a high-strength bolt, wherein the high-strength bolt is installed on the batten rod, the two steel plates are installed on the steel pipe, the batten rod is installed between the steel plates, and the concrete is arranged in the steel pipe and the two steel plates. The method comprises the following steps of S1, preparing materials; S2, opening a hole; S3, arranging the steel plates; S4, installing hte batten rod and the high-strength bolt; S5, welding the steelplates; S6, screwing a nut; and S7, pouring concrete. The shear wall is used for the technical field of building structure engineering.
