The invention discloses a sliding door and window with good waterproof performance. The sliding door and window comprises a frame. A first sash and a second sash are arranged inside the frame. First glass is installed at the top of the inner wall of the frame. Second glass is installed on the first sash. Third glass is installed on the second sash. Handles are arranged on the first sash and the second sash. A first outer frame waterproof rubber strip is arranged between the frame and the first glass. A water-stop rubber strip is arranged between the second glass and the third glass. A first drainage cavity and a second drainage cavity are arranged on the surface of the frame. A second outer frame waterproof rubber strip is installed between the frame and a wall. The sliding door and windowachieves rapid drainage by providing the two independent drainage cavities, avoids water leakage at joints between outer frame and the wall through the second outer frame waterproof rubber strip, andsolves the problems that an existing sliding door and window has poor waterproof effect, and rainwater easily flows into a room from sliding rails, junctions of windows and joints between the outer frame and the wall.
