The multifunctional intelligent shutter comprises a shutter frame, a control module, a driving motor, arotating shaft group and shutter blades; the control module, the driving motor and the rotating shaft group are respectively connected with the shutter frame; and the shutter blades are installed onthe rotating shaft group. The application method of the multifunctional intelligent shutter comprises the following steps of acquiring environmental factors outside a window and actual use requirements of a user; and intelligently analyzing a suitable multifunctional intelligent shutter opening and closing scheme according to the acquired information, and controlling the multifunctional intelligent shutter according to the opening and closing scheme. According to the multifunctional intelligent shutter and the application method thereof, the opening and closing state and the angle of the shutter are intelligently adjusted according to actual conditions such as light incidence outside the window, indoor brightness, user position, wind power, rain and snow, privacy protection, temperature and noise, and meanwhile, the blades are installed in a segmented mode, so that differentiation operation is carried out on a single row or a single line of the shutter, the intelligent degree of the shutter is increased, the convenience and the comfort of the shutter during use are improved, and better experience is brought to the user.
