The invention discloses an anti-toppling-type safety vertical ladder. The anti-toppling-type safety vertical ladder comprises a ladder frame, first supporting assemblies and second supporting assemblies; the ladder frame comprises a pair of vertically-arranged main vertical columns and a pair of horizontally-arranged main cross rods; the upper ends and the lower ends of the two main vertical columns are fixedly connected through the two main cross rods correspondingly to form a rectangular frame; the two sets of first supporting assemblies are arranged at the upper ends of the two main vertical rods correspondingly, and the first supporting assemblies comprise arc-shaped pipes, supporting plates, arc-shaped rods and first springs; and the two sets of second supporting assemblies are arranged at the lower ends of the two main vertical rods correspondingly, and the second supporting assemblies comprise lantern rings, rotating rods, supporting blocks and inserting rods, wherein piston blocks are arranged in the upper parts of the main vertical rods in a sliding sealing mode, and the lower ends of the piston blocks are fixedly connected with connecting rods. Both expanding and retracting of the first supporting assemblies and the second supporting assemblies do not need to be additionally operated by a user, operation of people is simplified, and using by the user is convenient.
